This is the second installment in the Indian Lake trilogy, and it is outstanding! Jones continues to prove himself a master of horror. Proofrock, Idaho is oddly comforting to return to, despite the gory, drippy foreboding that engulfs you as you read…  The characters continue to grapple with privilege and trauma and grudges and everything else that comes with small town living, while they attempt to find their footing in the aftermath of the events in book one, and figuring out what to do about the terrifying serial killer headed their way. – Liv
