April 3 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Gary Lark will be reading from his most recent collections “Easter Creek,” Main Street Rag, “Daybreak on the Water,” Flowstone Press. Most of his work is centered in rural Oregon.
Marc Janssen’s poetry looks behind the mask of everyday. It is a meditation that wanders through the mundane to the wonder of contemporary life. He tries to find all kinds of thought and words floating around in our heads.
Marc Janssen has been writing poems since around 1980. Early decrepitude has not slowed him down much; his verse can be found scattered around the world in places like Pinyon, Slant, Cirque Journal, Off the Coast and Poetry Salzburg also in his book November Reconsidered. Janssen coordinates the Salem Poetry Project- a weekly reading, the occasionally occurring Salem Poetry Festival, and was a nominee for Oregon Poet Laureate.
