Consignment

Bloomsbury Books is devoted to supporting local writers through our consignment program. If you are interested in having your work on consignment with us, please review the following guidelines:

• We will only accept books published with a printed and bound spine and displaying an International Standard Book Number (ISBN).
• We will only consign with authors based in the Rogue Valley area.
• All consignment requests must be made via email. A one-paragraph letter including your contact information, the ISBN and pricing of your title, and any promotional materials should be sent to bloomsburyashland@gmail.com. If possible, please include a sample chapter of your book in PDF form.
• Our terms are 60/40 (we take a 40% discount). We will carry 1-2 copies of your book. If it doesn’t sell after 1 year, we will contact you to retrieve your book(s).
• We have a blackout period from November 15th to January 15th, during which time we are unable to review or accept any new consignments.
• We are unable to provide feedback or critique of your work.
